The receptionists are horrible goblin people. They treat you as though they are being terribly put out by your requests, that is if they ever actually answer the phone. They have misinformed me on several occasions and wasted mine, and other patients time by booking me an appointment when it could have been done over the phone. I literally dread having to see their sour faces contort at me when i ask a question. Which is really not nice when you ill and you suffer from mental health issues. The only saving grace is the doctors. They are lovely.

Great doctors but the receptionists always seem to be upset. I don't want to feel like I'm doing something wrong everytime I need to book an appointment or need to ask them a question.

I agree with the positive comment below. I think people are being pretty unfair on the receptionists. My husband and I have just moved to the area and registered here. Ladies on the front desk are very helpful, and got us signed up very quickly. We both also needed blood tests (requested by ourselves), which were signed off by the doctor over the phone within a couple of days without any hassle or pushing. (Granted, these had to be done at the hospital blood clinic, but that didn't bother us in the slightest). Overall, a great first impression.

The receptionists seem to be getting a bit of stick in these other reviews. It's not their fault if they can't get you an appointment straight away, so to say they're "miserable" and "rude" is harsh. I've never had any problems here. Very professional Doctor who took the time to have a chat about my T-Shirt design whilst he was examining me. I've also seen the med-students (or whatever the correct term is) and they have always been professional and courteous too. I don't understand the 1 star reviews and I think they seem unfair, based on what I have personally seen.
